   Well constructed but sides were too low. . . our larger cats would urinate over the sides creating quite a messy clean up. Would probably be fine for your average cat.

   I was looking for a box that was large, had low sides, but would also keep the litter in when some of my cats get carried away with covering up their business. This one works purr-fectly!

   I’ve found that this litter box is a slight improvement over the standard litter boxes of average depth when it comes to keeping the litter in the box. That is to say I still have spillage, but not as much as I normally have (I have four cats). The snap on lid does help a little, and its real benefit is that because it’s removable it’s easier to clean the box when you wash it. But it’s not as deep as I would like it to be, and I think that is what causes the cat litter to still spill out onto the floor. If it was deeper I would give this product four stars.

   The scooper that comes with it is quite small, and the spaces are a bit big. You might wish to use a different scooper with this box, depending upon what type of litter you use (I use clay).

   I have one cat who prefers a covered box and one who doesnt. The one who doesnt happens to be a large cat and this box is perfect for him. Its plenty big enough, and with the added clip on sides, he no longer makes a litter mess.
